Fairies, shrines and spiders Helios School Orizan, Halamin This chronicle is dedicated to informing about the most recent, important, and interesting things happening in Orizan. The first interesting thing is the fairies. There are three main types of fairies present in the rainforest. There are the green muddy fairies, which seem to be one of the many rainforest creatures. There are the red fairies, who seem to be aligned with the fire elemental spirit thing that is fighting the forest spirit. There are also the black fairies, which seem to be the muddy fairies, without the rainforest in them. In general, the rainforest fairies have been fighting the other types of fairies, and killing them. At the start we underestimated them, and tried to avoid fighting them. It did not work. We all got dropped and then hexed. The general idea that the party has formed is rainforest and red fairies are bad, and black fairies are good. This aligns with the predictions, as the party is associating the fairies aligned with the elementals as bad, and the normal fairies as good. The vine trolls are also killing and eating the black fairies, which still shows that the rainforest and the black fairies are fighting. The second interesting thing that has been noticed is the shrines to the forest spirit. These shrines are being made by the zombies, but confusingly, some of them are not treating it as a shrine. There was a group of zombies that still had Orizan insignias, that seemed to be guarding the shrines, maybe acting as if it was something they should be defending as Orizan guards. The odd thing about the shrines was that every single one of them had a skull of a wood elf on top. One of our party members had a quirk that let them talk to anything natural, and they were able to talk to the skull. The skull said something like, “I am death. You will die. You all have no hope.” When we gave the skull to our innkeeper, they told us to disregard everything that the skull said, because it was an embodiment of the forest spirit. The innkeeper then sent it to get exorcismed by one of the builders. The third and final interesting thing that happened is the ruins that were encountered by the builders when they were trying to build the Green Wall. When the party and one of the innkeepers looked at it, it was supposed to be ruins from an ancient Illion Elf settlement, maybe even the first to ever have been in Falnorian. The elves had a strong relation with spiders, though apparently nothing to do with the skull spiders. It brings up something very interesting. One of the groups guarding one of the shrines with a skull on top had a spider. It was a skull spider, but if those were the corpses of the ancient elven civilization, it would definitely say something about the timing of the green zombies.
