Updates This is a chronicle about recent things of interest happening in orizon. First, I would like to talk about this letter from someone around 50 years ago. The letter said that somewhere in the south (probably tezchi’tatl, as it was still standing at that time, and is related to the forest ) was being attacked by the court of darkness and the forest, they did not know why the forest hated them. They also said that the court of darkness is not what they seem, and to beware of the vines. This brings me to my next topic, which is the vines. I am sure that you have heard of the vines, but did you know that they abduct people deeper into the forest. We know this from the letter and (unfortunately) from personal experience. I believe some of our party members were captured and killed, and for some reason cannot wisp back. Speaking of death, I have seen him standing at the edge of the rainforest at sundown, but more on that (and the court of darkness) in another chronicle. The only other new thing that has happened is that there are now giant sloths. I do not yet know what they can do but if you know please chronicle it. That is it for now, so goodbye. Death This is a chronicle about new things that have occurred about death. First, he was spotted at the edge of the rainforest at sundown previously. When we went to investigate, we saw that he was collecting spirits that came from deeper in the forest. There were also these weird forest creatures that had binding that were trying to trap the spirits. When we asked death what was going on, they said that these spirits were being trapped by the forest spirit, and need to rest. Then they said that “ Halimin knew better than most” to trap the dark council in the forest. If you remember some 50 years back, you know that there was a prophecy that the 1 of 4 regions will fall to the dark king. This means that tezchi’tatl was taken by the dark king. So now we know that we are not just fighting to keep the forest out, we are also fighting against the court of darkness. This is all I have for today, so goodbye. The vines This is a chronicle about the living vines that have recently been attacking the greenwall and orizon adventurers. For those of you who don’t know, the vines are likely animated by the forest spirit as servants. They have 1 hp but do not go unconscious, so it takes five one damage hits to kill them. They also have earthbind touch and sometimes aura, and have desecrate. Now for their goal. Everyone knows that they kill people, but what they don’t know is that they also abduct them. Let us explore some reasons why they do this. First it could have something to do about the rumors that zopocan is abandoned. The vines could have been the cause of this. The second has to do with vampires. On one mission, we saw what looked to be zopocan builders. They were acting weird though, and killed us without saying anything. Earlier, we had found a dead body with the blood sucked out of it, so this leads us to believe that the builders were actually vampires. So, maybe the vines are abducting people for the vampires.
