Fen (Rohan)

Hello to another instalment of the fen chronicles. Before I explain what happened today, I would like to say something about my last chronicle. I said there that we thought our innkeeper was a wood elf, the forest spirit actually confirmed this! Anyway, let's talk about what happened today. First we chose our missions: first deal with the growing threat of the volcano, then record rainforest history with halima. After clearing out a bunch of volcano creatures, we finally found the volcano spirit. It, as usual, demanded payment, specifically blood/power. Some people got morgantied and sacrificed, but then the party made a deal with the spirit; an annual payment of 100 people for our safety. After that, we went to record history. On the, we died to creatures and vampires (mostly a really annoying healer one that kept freebirthing the others) before reaching what we were looking for. We found pathways into following wood elf timelines, listed below • Proto-shucucani: some illion elves (not being attacked) mixed in, basic buildings • Shucucani empire: step pyramids and shrines, all wood elves • The fall: wood elves killing and sacrificing each other, everyone dying • Pre tezchi-tatl: wood elves from about 100 years ago We decided to go and investigate the shucucani empire.
