Sacrifice By Otrocis Today our party decided to deal with the volcano near the Greenwall, because a party member had a vision of it erupting. By the Greenwall we met Hal, the quest knight from Eldar. Hal gave us abilities through drill sergeant, and temporarily upgraded some of our weapons. When we arrived we had a long fight with some flame taluses, which ended in my theory from two weeks ago being true. Then, as we had all expected, the Volcano Spirit arrived. The Volcano Spirit proceeded to ask us all if we had come to bring sacrifices, or if we had come to burn. After the Volcano Spirit asked this, our party had a long conversation about what the Volcano Spirit wished for so that the volcano would not erupt. During this conversation, we determined that the Volcano Spirit believed that the more blood it was given, the more powerful it became. At the end of the conversation we came to a deal which was for every two people we sacrificed to the Volcano Spirit, we would have one week of peace. The second thing that our adventuring party decided to do was attempt to rescue some scouts from a group of rainforest vampires. The first thing on the way that we found was a group of all types of rainforest creatures, all of which we managed to drop. The second thing we found was similar, which makes sense – were in a rainforest after all. We found a giant tapir with a swarm of various rainforest creatures near it, and a bunch of scouts running from it. These scouts told us that this tapir had slightly different markings than the first tapir that was encountered. This, concerningly, means that there are multiple of these giant tapirs. Surprisingly, after a long battle, our party managed to defeat this thing and its swarm of rainforest creatures. After that, we finally encountered the vampires, who were dragging a group of scouts deeper into the rainforest. After another long battle, we defeated the vampires. Unfortunately for us, these seemed to be newer vampires, since their armor hadn’t already started to decay. We also noticed that one vampire accidentally stepped into the sunlight, it was instantly destroyed.
