The day starts in the inn as we vote upon our options and what to do. Unfortunately my party votes to investigate abnormalities near the shifting goddess temple. I wholeheartedly leave the inn to do other things; I don't like to get wrapped up in gods or anything of the sort. When I return to the inn to see how the mission went, it was a horrific fail. Sea beasts had attacked the temple, but these were overpowered sea beasts. The sea beast had a terror ball, some of them had ice balls, and others still had empathic rays. Most of my party members had been drowned or killed, and the temple had been destroyed. Thankfully, somehow some of my party members found 24 pieces of gold. It was enough to buy everybody in the party who had died or lost their equipment to get a dagger each. Unfortunately, some god gave everybody in the party a curse, a -1 Mana hex. Yet the shifting goddess gave the party a boon. After that encounter I joined in on the next mission, which was searching the markets for thieves and pirates. Along the way we met those people again from the warring continent. They were stranded in Celandi due to their ships not being able to leave due to bad weather and a lack of a trade master. Although right now they seem calmish, I'm worried we might see fights in the future. When we arrived at the markets, it was odd since most of the vendors were selling alcoholic beverages, a few cloaks, maybe a jewelry stand, but mostly just alcohol. Thankfully somebody in my party had a quirk enabling them to tell how many thieves were most likely in the market. They thought about 3ish. The first thief was decently easy to find; he was acting like an absolute idiot while openly stealing stuff and making a mess of the place. We quickly caught him, though somebody in my party healed him, and he escaped. Besides him, the other two were not as easy to find; we continued inspecting the market and its goods. I had a suspicion the changeling in the market may have been one of the criminals. they were not; I almost got into a fight, but the rest of my party members intervened and I quickly left the scene. Eventually we found the other two criminals, leaving the mission successful.
