Wow! Wow wow wow!! So that was the first day of adventuring! It was pretty crazy. I died twice! Didn’t feel so good :( Beau also died, feeling kinda bad about that. Anyways… We started out the day with the innkeeper Xitli, I thought they were really nice! Good host. We talked for a while about what to do but we eventually decided on an approach of like, go from the center and spiral outwards. Very poetic. So we went to secure the perimeter around the Teakin ley tap, not sure exactly what that means, but it was really interesting. We fought some big crabs, they were purple too. Then we fought some even scarier snakes, and they had spells. I want to come back to that, I wonder how they have spells… But yeah I got hit with a death ray!! Ouch!! Next I remember we were back in the inn again! This time the innkeeper was Valen, kinda spooky. They kept casting silencing sorceries on us!! They hit me and Beau with it first, but that was our fault for talking when they were talking, bad manners. But they unsilenced me later! We decided to go to help the people with mana rash, which I think was a great idea. We met up with some people with mana rash, and Beau started doing this weird thing where he was touching one guy’s leg, and then he said it made his headache go away…? Gonna have to interrogate him about that later. The guy with the mana rash was kinda cute, didn’t get his name, but I gave him a bracelet… Anyways, they needed some help and we were able to provide it! So first we met some desert gremlins, they're pretty nasty, don’t like them. They keep healing all the time!! So annoying. But we made it through that, and then. UGH. SLIMESSSS. Super annoying. They were ENORMOUS for one thing, and we couldn’t do anything to them!! One of them cast a sorcery that made me big, super weird feeling. Anyway I died again, got devoured. Didn’t realize this adventuring thing would be so dangerous! Beau died too, but I didn’t see it happen. I feel like maybe he was trying to come back to help me and then he got killed… I feel bad about it. Anyway after that I was feeling done for the day, those deaths really took it out of me and my bones were buzzing and ringing and hurting real bad, I was feeling kinda sick, so I didn’t stay. I think maybe dying to magic two times within a couple hours screwed me over a bit. Wish I had stayed now though, it sounds like the shards were so interesting!! I’ll catch em next time. The other people in the group were really interesting too!! There was one who is a Illion elf, but he was raised by wood elves!! His name is something really cool, I don’t know how to pronounce it or spell it but it’s something like I’nali or Ik’nali, It has a CLICK in it which is so cool, I really want to figure out how to pronounce it. I gave him a bracelet cause I felt bad about not knowing how to say his name. There are also TWO RATS. BIG RATS!! One of them is a chef. He seems pretty masterful, I'll ask him to cook something for me someday. There are also two sprigs, they are so beautiful! One of them talks reeeeeally sloooooow and it kinda annoys me but I’ll get over it haha. And there are so many other people!! I can’t even keep track! I cannot WAIT to get to know all of them better. This is so exciting!! I’m going to learn SO MUCH about magic and crystalline and everything!!! I’ll journal again soon, XOXOXO, Leilani
