Greetings again from Anguron! This week we heard some disturbing news: One of the duelers in the city's dueling ring got PD'd! According to the accused, she never meant to kill him in the first place. Last week I had a vision similar to this. I saw that someone got sliced across the neck, was surprised by it, and was dead before they hit the ground. At the time I didn't know which mission it was for, or whether it was past or future. I see now that not taking action was a mistake. Back to the present, someone saw a priest do... something right before the finishing blow was dealt. Some sort of hand-wavey thing. We followed the tracks to the temple of the priests of death. The priest that was there when the blow was dealt said that he had experienced a vision of the three shell game, with cities underneath. One light, one dark, and one dim, and when the chosen shell was lifted instead of a city there was a King chess piece. The priest said it felt like a checkmate. That priest was of Vengeful Death, and he said that the priests related to my vision were likely those of Fated or Lost death. It is our theory that the death is in some way related to the Dark Council. The second thing we did this week was trying to catch some people who vandalized the temple of the Cunning God, though the God has been dead for hundreds of years, and the temple is more of an archaeological site, my party-mates wanted to see if they could get a blessing. From what I understand, they found the vandals, and managed to bring one back alive, but several of them died in the process. No one PD'd, though. ~Amysri
