The Rainforest Helios School, Orizan, Halamin Orizon is a small town bordered on most sides by rainforest, with a lot of swampy areas. The rainforest has been producing strange creatures, and it is believed to have been the reason for the fall of Tezchi’tatl. The trees are moving on us at a pace of around one foot per hour, which is 8 yards in a day, or around a mile and a half per year. Orizan is a military outpost with the majority of the residents being soldiers and mages, trained to push back and eventually cease the progress of the rainforest. There have been three main things coming out of the rainforest, namely green zombies, skull spiders, vine trolls, and rainforest wolves. Fairy activity has also been cited. The main purpose of Orizan is to complete the construction of the Green Wall. The Green Wall is a wall that should hopefully stop the flow of the forest, and its inhabitants. There are other less powerful defenses in place to temporarily hold off the tide of rainforest creatures swarming Orizan. The construction of the Green Wall in some places is near village ruins, and our party has been finding artifacts there from an ancient elven tribe, maybe the first in Falnorian? This tribe of elves appear to have been intertwined with some spiders, not seemingly having much to do with the skull spiders. Artifacts include jars, shovels, and many other things used for everyday life. There have also been real walls and ancient buildings that need to be cleared. Unfortunately, the rainforest creatures have started to inhabit the area. It is believed that the rainforest elemental is behind all the rainforest creatures, because the green zombies seem to be strongest near the shrines to the spirit that they have created. Some of the green zombies aren’t mindlessly attacking us, instead, some of them are performing everyday activities, not to mention creating shrines. Another thing about the forest spirit is that it is strongly opposed to fire. Someone in the party had a quirk that was something like “elemental traits, fire”, and they used it on one of the shrines that the zombies made. They got marked somehow by the elemental, at least that’s who we suspect marked them.
